My Chicken

Yea,

gonna blog about the my

mysterious chicken that flew from no where to my house.

well,

that happened,

2 years ago.

and she's been laying eggs for 1 year already.

she's a super 'intelligent' chicken.

she actually knows how to ask for food when she's hungry!!

she'll literally stuck her head through the window into the kitchen and start

talking chicken in order to get my mom's attention,

to feed her!!

or if the window is closed,

she'll just keep peeking in.

XD

and and,

previously,

since we had no experience in rearing chickens,

we didn't prepare a nest for her to lay her eggs,

hence she went EVERYWHERE to lay her eggs.

and she'll NEVER fail to change her egg laying spot whenever we found and take her eggs.

but recently,

my mom made a 'nest' out of Onyx's kennel,

and she kept going there to lay her egg,

and this time,

even if we took it,

she would still go back there to lay her egg :)

there,

this is her in her 'nest'

and TRY SPOTTING HER EGG! :)

(hint: (more like answer :P) it's right under her chest!!)

okay, if you can't see it,

you are certified blind. =="

hahaa. just kidding :P

She lays an egg a day.

but it's more accurate to say 6 eggs a week :)

sometimes, if i'm lucky,

means,

if the chicken actually lay her egg and just walk off,

allowing my mom to get a freshly laid egg,

i would have a chance to eat the egg raw.

it's really yummy!

trust me.

it ain't like those city chicken's eggs you buy from the market..

and you don't have to put kicap (soy sauce) or pepper.

coz it doesn't have the 'funny' taste. :P

the really brown one is what i called as City Chicken's egg

as compared to my Kampung Chicken's egg.

okay,

the value of the egg is,

the smaller,

the more expensive.

just like mini skirts right?! XD hahaha...

anyways.

LOOKING FOR ANOTHER KAMPUNG MALE CHICKEN for her!

so if anyone is interested to just lend your male chicken for a while.

we would be eternally grateful! :P

1. Cycling.

Yup!! my second time cycling!

can YOU believe it!?

i mean, i actually went back again! :P

amazing :P

this time i went with

my cousin (Chih Ping, kinda forced :P), Jennie, Yan Ying, Thomas and Alice.

i woke up at 7am,

to...play....Pirates Ahoy before i leave for a long day out.

(don't wanna waste energy :P as in in PA)

hahaha..

mind my childishness,

and please don't ask why did i get myself hooked on these games.

i guess i'll quit really soon,

coz i know me,

once i get hooked.

i REALLY get HOOKED. :P

Anyways,

despite getting up so early,

still reached Sunway Uni half an hour late coz of the SUPERBLY bad traffic

on Federal Highway

(i mean, just to escape a 300m road to NPE takes 30mins! o.O)

after fetching Yan Ying and Thomas from Sun U,

i fetched Jennie and Alice from Jennie's House.

then off we go to

Taman Pertanian Malaysia

Bukit Cahaya Seri Alam

(weee!! i'm sure i got the name right this time :P)

went there,

and we started choosing our bikes..

felt conned!

like seriously!

because there were like 3 rows of bike.

the first row,

they said was "lama"

second row,

they said was "baru"

the third row,

was superbly new,

so i asked if we could rent them at the "baru" (new) rates.

which were RM2 more than the "lama" bikes.

then they replied,

oh, itu (that one),

terlalu mahal lah.. (too expensive)

Excuse me sir, if cannot rent,

why put it out lah,

go frame it please. =="

anways,

why i felt conned was because the first time round when i went there,

we were charged RM3 (rate for "lama" bikes) .

and this time, we took the SAME bikes,

and it cost RM5 this time,

coz according to them.

it's BARU... =="

right....

whatever.

Oh well,

we still rented it in the end.

The ride was

FREAKING tiring! :P

we took quite a lot of stops during the up Up UP hill rides..XD

anyways.

2. Pavilion

after the ride,

send them back home,

and went straight home,

took a bath,

and went off with my whole family to Pavilion.

coz...

i kept telling them that the Durian Durian store there is

Super Super Very Very yummy!!

haha..

(have been bugging them for a month already. so. FINALLY! :P)

First, we had our lunch at Madam Kwan,

and i kept telling them to leave some space for Durian Durian later :P

owh, we actually met the REAL Madam Kwan at Pavilion,

she brought us to our table.

though she sometimes smile,

but she just looks sad.

don't know why :P

always felt that the price at Madam Kwan was over priced.

coz i seriously don't see anything special.

Anyways,

after that,

i brought them out to the food court

(that's where Durian Durian is)

sat them at a table nearby,

and went order the Durian Pancake for them :)

the price is now RM3/piece,

and if you buy 5 pieces, you'll get one piece for free.

(curi-ed this pic from www.letgetfat.com :P coz i was so busy serving them i didn't have time to take a descent picture of the durian pancake.)

well,

why i had to bring them all to pavilion to eat

and not just "ta pao" for them is because,

the pancake is only good when it's eaten like RIGHT after they serve it.

coz otherwise it'd be too soft and mushy.

and it just don't taste nice at all.

so i made them eat the pancake first before proceeding to the Durian ice cream :)

then suddenly,

i felt.

hmmm,

something's wrong...

why none of them have ANY reaction?!?!!

like seriously...

they were eating the durian pancake and durian ice cream like some other food.

well,

i was expecting them to say like,

"wow....really nice!!! i think we should come back for more next time"

or something close to that, at least.

but no....

guess what they say...

"aiyooooo... you aahhh...

exaggeration of the highest order..

keep bugging us to come as if it was like

SUPER SUPER special and nice."

and they were actually imagining that the Durian Ice Cream MUST be really special for me to keep praising and bugging them to come to try :P

hahahahahahaa...

sigh. mission failed =="

my family is just weird.

:P

i mean,

the first time i had it,

i was like..wow!!

the ice cream tasted really good.

i think i learnt my lesson that,

you shouldn't eat the pancake first.

coz the pancake's durian has a stronger taste than the ice cream's

so it would tend to cover the taste of the ice cream.

making the taste of Durian less strong.

hee...

3. F8 Class at McOrange.

after that, went home to nap for like 30mins,

and off i have to go to McOrange for my night class.

sigh.

well,

i was really really tired,

but somehow,

Sheila really know how to incorporate some jokes into her teachings :P

so we don't actually feel bored :)

i mean,

she don't waste time telling jokes,

but she incorporates them into her explanations :)

well,

i know,

only 3 main things that happen today,

and that's enough to take one whole day of mine.

:P

yah,

i know i still have the Thai food post to post.

but, the pics are still with Jennie,

PT 1 Just ended.

it was fast.

at least for me.

coz i only took one subject :)

i guess i did really badly,

most of the answers were already given in the tutorials.

not that i didn't read through the tutorials.

but, i just can't find the words to express,

or, maybe, i just can't 'vomit' the things i've studied.

sigh.

anyhow,

CYCLING day!! :)

(well, if someone's aunty to visit :P)

it has been one month ++ since i last went there.

and before sleeping,

went to search on how to shift gear while cycling..

coz we were debating on when should we change gear,

while pedaling?

or while we stop pedaling (as in cruising)?

and the answer is.....

(according to THIS website)

Don't try to shift when you are stopped!

Bikes with traditional gearing are designed to be shifted when the pedals are moving, so don't try to shift when you are stopped. It's bad for the bike to shift when the pedals are not turning, and so you want to remember this and anticipate your stops, shifting to the right gear that you want to be in starting out before you actually stop.

PAST

Veg and Fish Farm Restaurant

last friday,

after class,

as i was about to drop suyi off at the usual spot,

i suddenly went like..

"hey, let's go eat Thai food!"

and since she had nothing to do, and neither did i,

so we just drove straight to

somewhere-near-Ampang-look-out-point

a.k.a "mini Genting"

to eat Thai food. =D

"Veg and Fish Farm" is such a weird name.

but the food was really good :)

one advice before you decide to eat there is,

you HAVE to go in a group.

no small portions there.

Since it was only me and her,

we only ordered 3 dishes.

and Suyi wanted to order more! o.O

she thinks my stomach is bottemless :P

haha.

anyways.

we ordered,

this fried veg. (super nice :D)

clear tom yam soup.

and some Japanese Snail

(wasn't that fresh that day, it had some really weird taste. but suyi said it wasn't usual.)

i LOVED the Fried veg and tom yam soup a lot! :P

the taste was really good,

and it wasn't too spicy.

going back there again this wed after PT1 :)

hope the plan will be on :P

Two days ago

(Wednesday)

Me, Ling En, Jie Xin, Shoko and Wen Jia

was invited back to KC High

to become the Judge for our Junior Prefect's Marching Exam :)

An experience not to be missed :P

Reached there at 2.20pm,

and took me almost 40 mins to find parking.

and it wasn't even a legal one.

who cares.

was like super desperate after getting stuck in the car for one hour

under the scorching sun!!!

It's been 3 years since i last march.

suddenly forgot which movement should end on which leg and all.

we were only given the

"i-don't-know-what-you-call-it" sheet of paper where to write down your comments

and marks like a few minutes before the marching exam.

and you know how fantastic my chinese is.

and hence, took me some time to digest it :P

don't wanna blog bout the process,

and err...haha..

my embarrassing moments :P

like reading some chinese words wrongly XD

haha.

and errr....

as i was commenting,

suddenly one of my juniors shouted,

(in chinese)

"hey, this senior sold 67 pairs of socks in one week"

and all my juniors went...

"WHOooooaAAA..."

i was like...okayyyy... XD

hahahaha.

i don't remember that... :P

but we do record all our sales :P

Anyways.

it feels so weird..

as in,

suddenly,

you see your juniors becoming the head...

and those USED TO BE timid prefects,

ended up to be...

a commander.

i mean,

i really never imagined that :P

but there's really a huge improvement on their side...

feel so old now.

but things are starting to pile up.

not really pile up kinda pile up,

it's like there's getting more and more to study.

Determination, Consistency and Commitment.

Spending a lil too much.

this month's expenditure is really crazy.

not earning fast enough to cover my expenses..

MINI Potato Salad with Egg

so not me :P

but, revising F8 and F9 is such a pain!!

so.

out of boredom and hunger,

my itchy fingers got me to grab some potatoes..

fine,

maybe it's not 'some'

just two :P

haha.

and decided to try making potato salad for myself :)

so i went online,

search for a few recipes on potato salad.

dice the potatoes...

scroll.

boil the potatoes...and eggs...

scroll.

add salt and pepper..

scroll.

add diced hard boiled eggs..

scroll.

add mayonnaise...

scroll.

mix..chill it in the refrigerator.

add parsley....*SKIP*

YEAY!

pretty easy isn't it?!

so i did as they say.

just that with way way lesser ingredients.

and A BIT of my own idea what i'm suppose to do :P
